Where do those episode titles come from?

You’ve probably noticed that every episode has a unique, often inappropriate or explicit title. So how do Ashley and Maggie select them? Certainly not during the episode - that’s the beauty of recording while intoxicated: they don’t remember half the things they say! So during the editing process, Ashley gives a first listen and will pull out one-liners that sound absurd, make no sense, or make her laugh out loud. In the next round of editing, Maggie will do the same thing. When there’s overlap in their selections, that’s the title they choose.

That being said, there are a lot of one-liners that are absurd, make no sense, and make us laugh out loud. So here are some of the episode titles not selected, but deserve honorable mention:

  • A skin mohawk

  • Oh Trudy!

  • Stay in the trees, koalas!

  • Of course I’ve eaten a horse

  • Or five

  • That salt on your brain feeling

  • Do you have a protractor?

  • ZACH!

  • Old buttery men

  • Traditionally terrifying

  • Smell through the ears

  • High society kangaroo

  • Comfortable hopping speed

  • Dammit cows

  • Fat suitcases

  • Large guacamole makers

  • They’re either pirates or pilgrims

  • Dan’s got places to be

  • Very endangered, frisky animals

  • As a Pisces I’m very sensitive

  • Goat Optometrist
